Any suggestions for a hairstylist and camera shop?

The kids just did a number on my camera. The lens is shot. All in the interest of taking pictures of Veronica's creation in my hair. Yes, the braided one gave me a new do, complete with colorful rubberbands. And this is possibly the last photo of me put into the blogosphere....My hair, by Veronica, photo by Mac
I'll miss my old camera. Sigh.
Any suggestions for a local business where I can find a reasonably, sturdy (new-to-me) camera?

    Hey Liz,
    I'm so sorry about the camera death...
    Okay--I alwaysalways get my techie stuff online--and sometimes refurbished. I read somewhere that refurbished is almost always better than new stuff because it gets tested so rigorously. ????Just my thoughts...
    BTW--loved your hair last night--was truly gorge.

    I think Don Lee at Salon Beyond Basics is great. It's taken be 8 years to find someone I like to cut my hair in this town. He's the man.
